Cnoc na dTobar (Hill of the Well) A stand alone mountain north of Cahersiveen and rising sheer out of Dingle Bay is one of the most impressive mountains on the Iveragh Peninsula.
A steady climb following a well known pilgrim trail following the stations of the cross and returning by the same route.

Cnoc na dTobar makes up one of the three great sacred sites of Kerry which also include Mount Brandon and Scelig Michíl and formed one of the county’s Pilgrim Routes.

On reaching the summit of Knocknadobar we continue along the ridge over Kells mountain and descend past Kells lough towards Kells Bay. A short section of the final descent is on steep rough ground for approx 10 mins
