We welcome applications to join our club from from those aged 18 and over.Unfortunately we do not have an under age section within our club.

Membership enquiries are accepted by way of e mail to:

New Members Are Required To Complete One  D (Easy) Or C (Moderate) Walk Before Progressing To The A Or B Walks, If They Have Not Previously Completed At Least  1 Taster Walk

Membership of the club and participation in any walk is at the discretion of the club committee and/or Walk Leader

    Privacy Statement and Communications Preferences

    Dingle Hillwalking Club is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. The Club takes the protection of the data that we hold about a member seriously and will do everything possible to ensure that data are collected, stored, processed, maintained, cleansed and retained in accordance with current and future legislation.
    The Club Membership Application Form collects information for the purpose of administering your membership. This information is shared only with Mountaineering Ireland (MI) for the purpose of maintaining membership and insurance cover. It allows MI provide you with access to an online portal where you can login and update you personal details and where you can set your privacy settings with MI. Your data are never shared with any other third party organisation or commercial entities inside or outside of Ireland.
    DHC maintains a Membership List and also requires members to sign a Walk Attendance Sheet at each club event. These records are not circulated outside the Club and may be held by the Club for up to six years for insurance purposes. We will hold your data on file for as long as you are a member, and the data will be updated every year using the completion of the Annual Membership Form. A Walk Report, which is circulated to all Club Members after a walk, usually lists the names of those walking on the day along with photographs taken by club members. You have the right to request access, rectification or erasure of your personal data. Hard copies of completed Membership Forms and Walk Registration Forms are retained by the Club Secretary. If you choose not to share your personal data with us we may not be able to register or administer your membership.
