This walk which begins at Baile Breac at the base of Cruach Bhreanainn is a challenging but rewarding climb well worth the effort for the beautiful views and the surrounding Atlantic ocean.

There is a steady incline from the beginning which eases out as we climb along the pilgrims route to the highest peak of the Dingle Peninsula Mount Brandon.(952m)

Once the peak is reached we head south west along a lovely path before meeting a beautifully constructed stone wall where one might feel they are wandering on the top of the world. This section is a wonderful respite to be enjoyed in the middle of this challenge. The route begins to descend before a short steep climb once again to the top of Brandon Peak (790m) and an enjoyable easy route leading to the third peak of the day Garrán Ceoil (840m) overlooking Loch Cruite.

The remainder of the route brings us steeply downhill to An Géarán and further on a well walked trail along a fence skirting Mullach Bhéal. We meet Siúlóid na Ghleanna and follow the zig zag trail towards the forested area before landing back to the parking spots at Glens.
