Start Point: @ O.S. Map 70 Q 363 062

Beginning at the western side of an Gaeltacht Football pitch we will head alon Muiríoch beach, skirting Baile an Rannaigh townland. We continue along the coast passing Wine Strand before returning to the beach’s of Cúl Dorcha and Beal Bán. We will once again leave the beach to make our way to the fortress of Dún an Óir.

We will retrace our steps back to the start point with an option open for those wishing to extend continuing to Baile na nGall picking up the cliff walk as far as Dooneen (also part of the Dingle Way) continuing on further or returning on the same route.
