Moanlaur and Dingle Way Loop

Starting at Maumnahaltora where the Dingle Way leaves the road, the route follows a track around a small forestry plantation before starting the ascent to the summit of Knockbrack 459m.

From Knockbrack there is a broad ridge along to the highpoint of the day which is Moanlaur at 566m. From the summit, to the south is Inch beach and hopefully views over to Cromane and in the distance the Reeks.

Continuing on to Knockmore and beyond before starting a steep descent over what at times is rough ground to a forestry track which joins the Dingle way and a 3km easy hike back to the starting point
